David has been teaching my family for many years and has proven encouraging and flexible to meet our different desires and musical tastes. His approach, patience and knowledge have kept the interest of our daughter for over ten years from the age of 11, maintaining her passion and interest through all kinds of changes. He has also kept the adult students in the family engaged and still learning over the last decade, improving our ability to play solo and in a group.

David’s investment in his wider student community has been a great opportunity to find others to play alongside and the student concerts are brilliant fun. I particularly appreciate that David’s greatest desire is for people to progress at their own pace and to maintain their passion. I look forward to the next decade of learning with David!
