Teaching is a natural progression
When I was studying flamenco in Spain, I realised that a key component of their culture is to pass on guitar knowledge from one generation to the next.
Seeing this culture made me realise how important teaching is and what a privilege it can be to pass on as much as possible about what I’ve learnt over the years; whether that’s to a new generation of players, someone that hasn’t had the opportunity to learn before or someone that simply wants to improve.

Guitar Lessons
I offer one-to-one lessons from my home studio in Spencers Wood.
I am happy to teach a variety of styles to anyone that wants to learn, from beginner to Grade 8.
This can include learning to read music, TAB, understanding chords and progressions and generally how to become a great guitar player.
All lessons are tailored to your needs, so we’ll focus on whatever you want to and if you’re not sure, then I’ll guide you as best I can.
Ukulele Lessons
I offer one to one ukulele lessons from my studio in Spencers Wood.
I can recommend songs at a suitable standard or we can work on songs you want to learn.
I often teach players who want to join (or are already members of) a public ukulele group, so the focus is often on chords and lead lines or riffs.
I’m happy to teach grades as well if you would like to go down that route; however all lessons are tailored to your needs, so we’ll focus on whatever you want to and if you’re not sure, then I’ll guide you as best I can.
